Getting started

The Certified Entities provides the ability to view all of the Certified Entities which have been uploaded. Within the Certified Entities list you can refine the list Filtering by Status, Filtering by Location, Searching by Certified Entity Name. This section also provides the ability to view individual Certified Entities, “+ Add Certified Entity”, Add Certification, Send Activation Email.

How it works

Certified Entities are uploaded either individually under the Certified Entity area or multiple uploads via “File Upload”, or “FTP” or “API”.

Once a Certified Entity is uploaded it will be displayed in the Certified Entities list. The list shows:

• Status – status of Certified Entity
• Unique ID – Unique ID for the Certified Entity
• Certified Entity name
• Location
• Certification – the number of certifications uploaded under the Certified Entity
• Updated at - Date updated
• Created at - Date Created

The list can be refined by:

• Filtering by Status
• Filtering by Location
• Searching by Certified Entity Name

View Individual Certified Entity

• Click on Certified Entity Name and the following action are available on the “Details” page:
• View Profile Fields
• Send Activation Email
• Copy Activation Link to send directly
• Edit Certified Entity details
• View Live Profile
• Click on the “Certifications” page to view, edit and add certifications.
• The list can be refined by:
• Filtering by Status
• Filtering by Location
• Searching by Certificate No.
• Click on Certification No. or “View” button to:
• View Certification
• Edit Certification
• View Live Certification profile
• Add Certification
• Complete Certification Form

View Certifications

• Click on the number under the “Certifications” field in the Certified Entity list to be directed to the list of certifications.

Pre requisite

• Upload a Certified Entity via “Add Certified Entity”, or via “File Upload”, “FTP” or “API”.
• Ensure the mandatory fields have been included for a successful upload. See field names in User guide Glossary to ensure data is in the correct format. https://developer.iafcertsearch.org/field-names/cb_certs

Requirements

For single entry upload

• Go to Certified Entities
• Click “+ Add Certified Entity”
• Complete form – include all mandatory fields, save form.
• Send Certified Entity Activation
• Send email. Or
• Copy link and send directly
• Add Certifications under “Certifications” to Certified Entity. Certified Entities / Certified Entity Name / Certifications
• Once the Certified Entity has activated, they can upload logo, receive their IAF CertSearch Mark, Include multi lingual trading names, opt into certified trade marketplace. 

For multiple entry upload

• Go to “Data management”
• Select “File Upload”, “FTP” or “API”. For how to guides see user guides for each process https://developer.iafcertsearch.org/

View options

• Go to Certified Entities
• View list: filter by Status, Location or search by Certified Name
• Click on Certified Entity Name or Actions / View Details
• View details
• View Certifications which have been assigned
• View live profile page
• Edit Certified Entity information and save
