The Data Mapping issue may appear during the initial data validation process, which always takes place after selecting the files you want to upload (Step 2 of data import).

To Resolve Data Mapping Issues

  1. Click the 'Data Mapping' from the validation navigation within the data import process:

  2. Once clicked, a list of all the fields that are unrecognized by the system is listed in the main content area.

Field Name

Field Name where the data error is seen.

Source

The actual data value that exists from your source file, that is not recognized by the system.

Target

The data value defined in the IAF CertSearch database.

  1. Under the Target column, search or select the dataset to which you want to map your source data.

  1. Once all data mapping issues are resolved, click the 'Apply Data Mapping' button to ensure that the mapped data are submitted.

  2. Once done, the system will continue validating your data.

  3. If all data is valid, your data will be successfully imported.
