# Export glossary

* **Export** — one run of pulling data out of CertSearch.
* **Data template** — saved *what & how* (matching status, tags, format). The **WHAT**.
* **Schedule Preset** — saved *when* (start date, time, frequency). The **WHEN**.
* **Recipient group (Destination)** — saved *where* (a named set of email recipients). The **WHERE**.
* **Scheduled Export** — Data template + Preset + recipient group + name, run on a repeat.
* **Matching Status** — a filter: Matched or Not Matched. Leaving it unset defaults to All data (matched + not matched).
* **Tags** — labels used to narrow which records are included.
* **Direct Download** — file becomes available on your Activities row to download.
* **Activities** — the history of your export runs.
* **Export Management** — the five-tab hub: Activities, Scheduled Exports, Data template, Destinations, Schedule presets.
