# Schedule presets

### What it is

A schedule preset saves the *when* of a [**scheduled export**](/verifiers/bulk-delivery/export-management/scheduled-exports.md) — its start date, start time, and frequency. It carries no data and no recipients, so you can reuse the same timing across different schedules.

### How to create one

1. On the **Schedule presets** tab, add a schedule preset.
2. In the **Add schedule preset** dialog, enter a **Preset name**, then set a **Start date**, **Start time**, and **Frequency** (for example, *Monthly on the last Friday*).
3. Click **Save schedule preset**.

It appears in the list with a plain-language summary, for example: *"Runs monthly on the last Friday, starting Jul 31, 2026 at 6:00 PM."*

### How the timing works

* The weekly and monthly pattern is worked out **from your start date** — the weekday and its position in the month.
* Changing the start date or the frequency updates the summary automatically, so it's never out of date.
* A monthly pattern based on an ordinal weekday (for example, *"last Friday"*) runs on the matching day each month, even as the date shifts.
* A **start date in the past is rejected** with a message before you can save.
