# Verification Charges

Each time you verify a certified entity, **verification credits will be deducted** or **charges will apply**, depending on your usage and subscription tier.

### **Charges for Company Verification**

Under the **new subscription plan**, verification is now based on **companies**, not individual certificates.

* Each company verification deducts **1 credit** from your available balance.

If you're on a paid plan (e.g., **Basic 499**, which includes **150 company credits /year**), you can consume your included credits without incurring additional charges.

However, if you **exceed your included credit limit**, the system will begin charging for each additional verification at the **per-unit rate** specified in your plan.

### **Removal of Certificate-Level Verification Charges**

To support a more sustainable and efficient verification workflow, we’ve removed charges for **certificate-level verification**.

This means that **once a company has been verified**, you can access and verify **all of its certificates** **without incurring additional charges**. This change ensures a smoother user experience while making company-level verification more cost-effective.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://support.iafcertsearch.org/verifiers/getting-started/verification-rules/updated-subscription-plans/verification-charges.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
