# \[Release Notes] August 12, 2025

#### **Our Enhanced Search Experience**

We’ve introduced an upgraded **Search** feature for Verification Users, designed to deliver more accurate and relevant results. When you enter keywords, the system now suggests multiple matching companies or certificates, helping you find the right record faster. Enhanced filtering options make it easier to narrow results and locate exactly what you need.

**What’s New:**

* **Direct search** by company name or certificate number.
* **Multiple suggestions** through a search result page for matching companies or certificates based on your keywords.
* **Improved filters** to help you quickly narrow results.
* **Streamlined verification** with fewer steps and faster access to information.

## **Frequently asked questions** <a href="#frequently-asked-questions" id="frequently-asked-questions"></a>

{% hint style="info" %}
**Will there be any changes to how verification credits are consumed?**

Yes. Since a dedicated search results page has been introduced, you can now view multiple company profiles in the results without consuming any verification credits. Credits are only deducted when you **access the Company Profile page** or **open a certificate**.

*Note:* If you are subscribed under a **legacy plan**, verification charges may still apply to both company and certificate access.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://support.iafcertsearch.org/verifiers/release-notes/release-announcements/release-notes-august-12-2025.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
