# Filters and Badges
Once you have search results, filters and badges help you focus in and see more without leaving the page.
## Filters
Filters help you shorten your results to just what you need. They only narrow the search you've already run; they don't start a new one.
When you select a filter, your results update to show matching records. Each active filter appears as a tag above the list:
* Click the **×** on a tag to remove that one filter.
* Click **Clear All** to remove them all at once.
You can filter by:
* **Country** – show companies from one country.
* **City** – show companies from one city. Country and City stay in sync: pick a country and the cities narrow to match, or pick a city first and the country updates to match it.
* **Certification Body** *(paid plans only)* – show certificates from one certification body. Start typing its name and choose from the suggestions.
* **Accreditation Body** *(paid plans only)* – show certifications from one accreditation body. Start typing its name and choose from the suggestions.

The **Certification Body** and **Accreditation Body** filters are available on paid plans only. On a free account, they appear locked.

## Badges
Each result on the search results page has three badges, shown on the same row as the **View Certificate(s) Status** link. They let you see what a company holds at a glance:
* **Standards** – the number of standards the company is certified against.
* **Certificates** – the number of certificates it holds.
* **Sites** – the number of sites covered.
Click a badge to open its details right there on the card:
* The **Standards** badge lists each standard, with a **View** button to open its details.
* The **Certificates** badge lists each certificate, with a **View** button to open its details.
* The **Sites** badge lists all the sites covered.
Only one badge stays open at a time, so opening a new one closes the last.

Opening a badge counts as opening the result, so the first one uses a credit.
