How it works
After a file has been uploaded correctly, the IAF CertSearch system will scan all data values and identify the ones that do not match. The data values that do not match are listed in the “Data Mapping” tab. Your organisation must view, edit and save each mapping request and the data will flow through to the correct location in IAF CertSearch. If the mapping request is not implemented then this data will be missing in the IAF CertSearch system. Once the data mapping requests are saved, any data coming from your organisation in the future will be directed based on the mapping request. The data mapping request only needs to be set up once.
For every mapping request, your organisation must match the “Source” data values with the “Target” values. “Source” data values are the data values that have been uploaded by your organisation that do not match the “Target” data values in IAF CertSearch.
Source data values can vary accross Certification Bodies and Accreditation Bodies. However target data values are defined in IAF CertSearch and do not change.
