Once the system identifies a match, you can access detailed certification information for the matched companies. This includes the certification status (valid or invalid), along with the associated standards and schemes. This process is initiated by clicking the Verify Certifications button.
Enter the certificate number directly in the search engine to verify a certification.
If no suggestions are provided, it may indicate one of the following:
The certification has not yet been added to the IAF CertSearch database.
The company or certification is no longer valid (e.g., expired, suspended, or withdrawn).
The company name is restricted or confidential and not publicly available.
The certification has been removed from the IAF CertSearch database.
If you believe that the certification you are trying to verify is valid but cannot find it in our database, please contact us using the following link: IAF CertSearch Inquiry.
Navigate to the Certified Entity's profile and click the View Certification button.
Once you've successfully matched an entity and obtained its certification information, click on the Verify Certifications to verify the details.
Access certification information directly from the Companies list.
Verify certifications by selecting the relevant entry from the Certification list.
Multiple Certifications per Certified Entity
A Certified Entity may hold multiple certifications. We recommend reviewing the number of certifications you plan to verify to ensure you're aware of the potential charges.
Certification Charges
The system will charge you for verification whenever you access live certificate information, except during the Verification Access Grace Period. If you are within the 30-day grace period, you can access the record without consuming any credits.
If the system finds an entity match within the IAF CertSearch database, it will generate the corresponding verification statuses. Currently, the possible results are:
Valid: The certificate is still active.
Invalid: The certificate may be suspended, withdrawn, or expired.
