# Manage CB Standards and Schemes

## Assign the Standards and Schemes to the CB:

1. On the CB detail page click **"+ Assign Standards and Schemes"**&#x20;
2. You'll be redirected to the Accreditation Information form, where it is divided into 4 sections:&#x20;

   \
   **(1) Standards and Schemes,** where the accredited standard and scheme are added together with its validity. Add the following information:<br>

   **1.1**  Standard \
   **1.2** Scheme\
   **1.3** First Issued Date *(Optional)*\

   **1.5** Expiry Date *(Optional)*<br>

   **(2) Technical Sectors,** where you can choose the Technical Sectors that are accredited with the selected Standard. *(Optional)*<br>

   **2.1.** To choose the technical sector, click **"+ Assign Technical Sectors"**\
   **2.2**  You'll have the option to select multiple or all technical sectors.<br>

   **2.3**  The **left pane** is the list of sectors you can choose from, click the checkbox to add the accredited technical sector.

   **2.4.** The right pane shows the **SELECTED** technical sectors (If you want to remove the selected sector just uncheck it from the left pane)

   **2.5** Once submitted, you can modify the accreditation status, full/limited scope, and Extent of scope for each sector, although, these fields are all **OPTIONAL.**

&#x20;        **(3) Country/Economy,** where you'll choose which Country/Economy the CB can issue their certifications to.

&#x20;           **3.1**  To choose the country/economy, click **"+ Assign Country/Economy"**\
&#x20;           **3.2**  You'll have the option to select multiple or all counties/economies

&#x20;           **3.3**  The **left pane** is the list of countries/economies you can choose from, click the checkbox to add.\
&#x20;           **3.4.** The right pane shows the **SELECTED countries/economies** (If you want to remove the selected sector just uncheck it from the left pane)\
&#x20;           **3.5** Once submitted, you can modify the accreditation status and specify its effectivity date, these fields are all **OPTIONAL.**

&#x20;           **(4) Key Locations,** where the accredited locations are added

&#x20;           **4.1**  To choose the country/economy, click **"+ Add Key Locations"**\
&#x20;           **4.2**  You'll have the option to add key locations

**Key Location form includes the following fields:**&#x20;

* Office Type <mark style="color:red;">(Required)</mark>
  * Corporate Head Office
  * Regional Head Office
  * Country Head Office
* Building Number / Floor number / Street  <mark style="color:red;">(Required)</mark>
* City  <mark style="color:red;">(Required)</mark>
* State
* Country <mark style="color:red;">(Required)</mark>
* Postcode / Zipcode  <mark style="color:red;">(Required)</mark>

3. Once you are done completing the forms, hit the **Submit** button

Once the Accreditation Information has been submitted, you can only edit the following information:

* Accreditation Status
* Accreditation Issuance Dates
* Technical Sectors
* Countries/Economies
* Key Locations

**What does it mean for the CB?**&#x20;

The CB can activate their IAF CertSearch account and upload the certification accredited to the assigned standard.

## Edit Standards and Schemes

To edit the accreditation information:

1. On the CB detail page, click **"Standards and Schemes"**
2. In the list, click the "**View"** button of the Standard and Scheme you want to edit.
3. In the Details tab, click the **"Edit"** button
4. Here, you can update the following information:
   * Accreditation Status
   * First Issued Date
   * Issued Date
   * Expiry Date
5. Once, done click the Submit button.

If you happen to assign an incorrect Standard or Scheme and you want to edit it, we recommend just deleting the incorrect record and creating a new one.

## Delete Accredited Standard <a href="#delete-accredited-standard" id="delete-accredited-standard"></a>

To delete the Accredited Standard:

1. On the CB detail page, click **"Standards and Schemes"**
2. Find the Standard you want to delete, click the ![](/files/S1WVou2ZBoKXqSNmP8jz) button
3. Then click **Delete**
4. Confirm if you want to proceed, click **OK**
5. Once done, the Standard Accreditation status will be set to <mark style="color:red;">**DELETED.**</mark>

**How does it affect the CB?**

If the Standard Accreditation of the CB is deleted,  then the CB can no longer upload certification data issued with the deleted Standard.

Should you wish to permanently delete the Standard and Schemes, go to View and click the <mark style="color:red;">**Permanently Delete**</mark> button.

This action is <mark style="color:red;">**IRREVERSIBLE**</mark> and cannot be reverted, we highly encourage you to be cautious with permanently deleting a record.
