# Data Mapping by Certification Site Type

{% hint style="info" %}
If you choose not to map your data, ensure that you define the **Certification Site Type** to either **Main Site** or **Additional Site**
{% endhint %}

To perform the mapping, choose **"Certification Site Type"** as the Field Name.

1. Go to **'Import Settings'**
2. Click the **'Global Mapping'** tab
3. In the Data Mapping tab, click the **'+ Add Data Mapping'** button

4. Select **Certification Site Type** as the Field Name you want to do that mapping to.

5. Enter the value of the source data, example: **Primary Site**

6. Select the target **Certification Type** where you want the source to be mapped.

{% hint style="info" %}
In this case, "**Primary Site**" is the data value defined from the source (e.g., Excel/XML file). The system will not process this data because "**Primary Site**" is not recognized as part of the certification site type dataset. To successfully import the data, you must map it to the correct certification site type recognized by the system—in this example, "**Main Site**."
{% endhint %}

7. To add multiple mapping just click the Add Data Mapping button:
8. Once done, click the **'Submit'** button
